Today, Matthew DeLisa from Cornell University presented “Bacterial glycoengineering: from designer enzymes and pathways to next-generation therapeutics and vaccines.” His research group aims to engineer the protein machinery of bacteria to solve complex problems in biology and medicine. Professor DeLisa is a newcomer to the CSHL Synthetic Biology course and he gave a fantastic talk.
